The path was worth it!

Mount Hiro rises to a height of 438m on the island of Raivavae. From its summit you have a breathtaking 360° view over one of the most beautiful lagoons in French Polynesia. It takes about an hour to get to the top and it's quite steep at the start, as you climb through a pine forest with a carpet of raspberry bushes - long trousers are highly recommended! Things get easier as you reach a clearing of soft grass before you get to the summit. Don't forget to take water and a snack with you.
