The hilarious comedy in Reo Tahiti is back on stage this year, this time at the Grand Theater on October 11, following the success of six sold-out performances at the Petit Theater and the Majestic Cinema in March and April.
Performed since 2021, it has already been seen by more than 4,500 spectators in Tahiti.
The seven Polynesian actors are back: Christopher Prenat, Tamatoa Kautai, Heiiti Chanson, Tepa Teuru, Yann Paranthoën, Merehau Cugnet, and Kahaia Mollen.
The first play adapted into the Tahitian language since Te Manu Tane in 1992, ‘O Morito Ta’u Vahine was adapted and directed in 2021 by the original author of the hit play Ma femme s’appelle Maurice, Raffy Shart, and translated into Reo Tahiti by Jacquot Tiatia.
