New edition of Pīna'ina'i: when dance and literature are one.
Led by the independent choreographer Moana'ura TEHEI'URA, Pīna'ina'i is preparing its 11th edition and always carries high the values of Polynesian arts: writing, staging, dances and music respond in an intense and emotional whole. Each year the theme of the show is imposed on the participants, the texts submitted by the authors come together by necessity, without any consultation.
This is what makes the originality of this event, its desire to stage the books to tell a story, to question the viewer.
The theme of this new edition has not yet been communicated by the organizers. After La Maladie in 2019 and Nos Intelligences in 2020, this year's theme will undoubtedly be chosen with a lot of thought to then allow words, dance and music to make us evolve, think, cogitate, grow.
