Animal Welfare

Run For Dogs 2 is the second edition of a heartfelt and athletic challenge led by Fabio Salmistraro to support 10 animal welfare associations in French Polynesia.
By running the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc 2025, he aims to raise awareness and collect funds to improve the lives of abandoned animals.

What is the project about

Run For Dogs 2 combines athletic performance with a strong social commitment. Fabio Salmistraro, a dedicated dog trainer, is taking on one of the world’s most demanding races—the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB)—to raise public awareness about the urgent plight of animals in French Polynesia and to generate essential funding.

The goal is to support 10 ARPAP-affiliated associations – the Alliance for the Respect and Protection of Animals in Polynesia – operating across multiple islands. Funds will help cover essential material and logistical needs. This initiative brings exceptional visibility to the cause, thanks to the international reach of the UTMB.

Every donation made to this project will be directly allocated to service providers and suppliers identified by ARPAP, ensuring that all funds go toward tangible, on-the-ground support.

> Fundraising Goal: 10,000,000 XPF
