Car hire, cultural center, medical and dental health center, post office and bank with cash dispenser. In the Marquesas Islands the only banks are in Hiva Oa, Nuku Hiva and Ua Pou, so remember to take enough cash when visiting the other islands.
The Island of Tahuata, is only 30 minutes from Hiva Oa by boat and is well worth visiting, especially for the craftsmanship of the island’s sculptors.
