Bathing in the sun on Swimming Pool Motu in Raivavae

A palette of turquoise and blue

A Rosary chain of motu

A white sandy beach and crystal clear waters in all shades of turquoise and blue. What more could you want? Take an excursion on a poti marara, the typical Polynesian fishing boat, to visit this little corner of paradise.

A swimming pool in the lagoon

After a short, calm crossing by boat, (or by kayak if you’re staying nearby), you arrive at Swimming Pool motu. A Rosary chain of motu in the lagoon encircling a clear, warm swimming pool. The sandy beaches are white, the sea is all shades of blue, the setting is sumptuous. It is reputed to be one of the most beautiful spots in The Island of Tahiti… Judge for yourself.

All you’ll need is some headwear, a swimming costume and a tube of bio sun cream. Then just sink into the warm water and enjoy the idyllic surroundings, as you sip on the cool water of a freshly cut coconut. Go for a swim and then laze in the shallows and enjoy the view. Admire the other motu, the magnificent lagoon and in the background, the majestic Mount Taitaa Life doesn’t get much better than this!
