From the other islands of the Society, it is possible to make a private transfer by helicopter.

Getting around on Taha’a

There is no airport on Taha’a and air passengers must take the shuttle service from Raiatea to get here. The two islands share the same lagoon. There is no public transport on the island, but you can rent a car, scooter or bike.

Shops and other businesses are mostly to be found in Patio and Haamene.

Go hiking, visit a vanilla plantation, a rum distillery and a pearl farm.
