Whether you’re on land or at sea, the sights are breathtaking at Fakarava ! So whatever activities you decide on, keep your eyes open and enjoy the view. It’s bound to be magical.

Learning, moving and keeping still

Activities for everyone

Obviously, the principal activity on Fakarava is scuba diving. But it’s not the only thing you can do. Take a day trip to a motu with a pink sandy beach, explore the reef flats at night, visit a pearl farm, or attend a craft workshop and learn how to weave a straw hat. Go for a guided tour of the island’s endemic plant life, or an excursion by bike or quad, or even on a jet-ski. Of course, doing nothing at all is also an option. Just spend the day lazing on the beach and soaking up the sun.
