  • The Holopuni Va'a Hawaiki Nui Voyage is a deep sea sailing canoe crossing between the islands of Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea, Tahaa, and Bora Bora. The canoes used are of the Holopuni class / gauge. A double outrigger canoe with three crew members. It is propelled by the wind and the strength of the arms. Only an unsecured oar is authorized to steer (no rudder). Five stages are in race mode with cumulative results for a final classification. There is a trophy for the winner of each...
    The Holopuni Va'a Hawaiki Nui Voyage is a deep sea sailing canoe crossing between the islands of Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea, Tahaa, and Bora Bora. Three stages will be in raid mode. This year, our trip is associated with the Tahiti Pearl Regatta. The Hawaiki Nui Voyage would be the prologue to the TPR. Arrival in Raiatea the pirogue fleet will join the program and the races of the TPR. If conditions allow, the trip will end with a final stop on Bora Bora after the TPR.
