Access

Access
  • From the Vai'are wharf, take the ring road (RT91) towards Ōpūnohu Bay (to the right as you leave the wharf).
Once you've reached the bay, take the Belvedere road (RT 93), which runs towards the middle of the bay (follow the signs).
After a few meters, take the first road on the right: this is where you'll find the eco-museum parking lot.
From the parking lot, a footpath takes you to a footbridge leading to the entrance of the eco-museum, recognizable by its fan-shaped bioclimatic building.

‍♀️ By bike or on foot:
The site is also accessible by bike or on foot from nearby villages and accommodations.

    By public transport:
There is no public transport serving the Ōpūnohu estate or Belvedere directly. We recommend renting a vehicle, scooter or bicycle for independent access to the site.
