Gauguin's Pearl

The Rangiroa pearl farm organize comprehensive tours of the Tahitian pearl culture. Photos and videos are allowed throughout the tour. A visit to the farm's boutique will give you the opportunity to bring back one of your most beautiful souvenirs from Rangiroa. In addition, as a pearl producer, we guarantee our pearls for life. You will learn how pearl oysters produce cultured pearls. We will tell you about Tahitian pearls, but also about other oysters around the world. During your visit, the entire production process will be explained to you and all year round you will have the opportunity to witness either the grafting of the oysters or the harvesting of the pearls and sometimes both. Visiting hours are from Monday to Friday and they take place twice during the day: at 9:30 am and at 2:00 pm. Costs are 1000F per adult and 500F for children less than 12 years old
