Created in 2010, CREATIV is a boutique-workshop located on the upper floor of the Le Petit Village shopping center in Haapiti, on the sister island of Moorea. The store showcases Polynesian creativity through locally-made clothing, jewelry and objets d'art. Products on offer : Clothing made in the store's workshop: local dresses for women and children, shirts, tee-shirts, hand-painted or tie & dye pareos, as well as a wide selection of handicrafts from the five archipelagos. The boutique collaborates with over 180 Polynesian artists and offers more than 400 pieces of art: tiki in wood or stone, various sculptures, umete, puzzles, jewelry in pearl, mother-of-pearl, bone or shell, works in tapa, flowered stone, wood or coral, ukulele, to'ere, pahu tupai, adzes, sculptures representing rays, whales, turtles, sharks, dolphins, mo'o, knives, oars, vegetable ivory, pandanus, pearl poe pipi, coconut graters and coconut jewelry, and more.
