A palette of colors

A bright orange Nemo, a green turtle, a gray shark, or the myriad colors of the coral itself. Discover one of the greatest treasures of The Islands of Tahiti: the coral reef. Whether you’re scuba diving, snorkeling, looking out of a diving helmet or gliding on an underwater sea scooter, you’ll be dazzled by the beauty all around you. From the reds and yellows of the coral, to the multi-colored parrot fish and the violets, blues and greens of the giant clams, the reef is a veritable palette of colors. So take to the water! Explore the Coral Gardens of Taha’a and Huahine, and marvel as you follow the water trails in Bora Bora, Rangiroa and other islands.

Please make sure that your suntan lotion is eco-friendly and do be careful not to kick your fins too wildly and damage the coral – it has had enough on its plate already with global warming! And if you want to help preserve the coral reef, then you can actually adopt some coral through a local association.
