'Ia ora na Havai'i! The association A NUI TAPUTAPUĀTEA is organizing an Introduction to Polynesian Culture Day on Sunday, October 09, 2022😃 at Taputapuātea!
🇵🇫 ACTIVITIES 🇵🇫
The day will feature the following activities:
- Coconut Workshops: Shell, Open, Grate coconuts.
- Cultural Art Workshops : Engraving and Inlaying with our traditional master craftsman Guillaume IOTEFA
- Manual Workshops: Braiding, Tapa making, Extraction of natural colors
- A visit to the Taputapuātea marae site
- A good Polynesian meal with 'ipō that you will learn to prepare and a braided plate on the spot!
🍽️ MENU 🍽️
Polynesian meal menu:
- Raw fish with coconut milk
- Chicken fafa
- 'Ipō
- Po'e
- Taro and Fē'ī
💶 FEES 💶
Registration for the day is charged at 10,000 francs per adult, this participation includes the entire day and workshops as well as the Polynesian meal
Children(- 16 years old) can be registered for the day and the workshops for a participation of 1.500 francs which constitutes the expenses of the Polynesian meal
