Description
Experience Tahiti from the sea!
All our excursions depart from the Papeete Marina—Tahua tu Marama (between the Moana and the Meherio).
Come aboard the Mokai Vaka for a Polynesian day on the water, departing from Papeete.
The morning begins with a cruise along the west coast of Tahiti toward Sapinus.
Along the way, the crew shares the history of the area, the iconic coastal landmarks, and the legends that have shaped this part of the island.
A stop is also planned at Pointe des Pêcheurs, known for its regular sightings of dolphins and, occasionally, sea turtles.
The Mokai Vaka then heads to a calm anchorage in the turquoise waters of the Faa’a Lagoon. You’ll then enjoy several hours of swimming, relaxation, and living at the lagoon’s leisurely pace.
At noon, a ma’a Tahiti buffet is served on board, before the atmosphere takes on a more festive tone with a group of local musicians performing live starting at 1:30 p.m.
Singing, ukuleles, guitars, and Polynesian classics set the tone for the afternoon while the more adventurous continue swimming.
This excursion is, above all, a friendly Polynesian day on the water—featuring dolphins, swimming, ma'a Tahiti, and live music—to experience Tahiti as it’s meant to be enjoyed with friends or family.
