DU ZOUK 🌞 This word first referred to popular dance venues in the 1900s, in the French West Indies. At the beginning of the twentieth century, this word was used to designate a "hot" ball in Martinique and Guadeloupe. The Kassav' group marked the beginning of the expansion of Zouk in 1979 and continues to make the whole world dance today.
DE LA BACHATA 🌴 Originally from the Dominican Republic, it is in the 1980s that it spreads. This dance is a mixture full of folklore between rhythmic bolero, Haitian kompa, merengue, cha-cha-cha and tango!
SALSA It goes back to the 🌶 ancestors from Africa who were slaves, sent to the Caribbean including the island of Cuba. Born in the mid-50s, salsa eventually spread throughout Colombia and the rest of America. A lively, mesmerizing and dynamic tempo that makes all dance lovers dance together.
