Roulotte

The roulottes at Vaipoopoo have become something of an institution in Tahiti. Families and groups of friends come to eat, often in the early evening, as is the Polynesian custom. The prices are very reasonable and there’s a large choice. You can eat traditional Polynesian dishes, chineses food, steak with French fries, pizzas… Each roulotte has its own style of cooking and its own faithful customers. It’s a great way to experience a night out with the locals.
