The sand is hot, the sea is a shimmering turquoise and you’re feeling hungry. Wouldn’t it be just perfect if you could only stay in the water and eat? No sooner said than done! A picnic on a motu in The Islands of Tahiti – taking it easy in style.The table and chairs are in place, so take a seat, let the cool water lap softly over your feet and enjoy your meal! Tāmā’a maita’i !

Three star dining

Lunch on the motu, with pleasure as the main course. A Robinson Crusoe, sitting at a wooden table with your feet in the water in the company of friends, or with someone special if romance is in the air. A pleasure that’s simple and simply wonderful.The fish will soon invite themselves to the table as well, and a ray or two might just pass by to say hello.

Please remember to respect the environment as you sample the singular pleasure of a picnic on the motu. Make sure that your suntan cream is eco-friendly, and despite their insistence, please do not feed the fish – they manage well enough on their own. Then, once you’ve digested your meal, why not do a little snorkeling, just to put those extra calories to good use!
