Point of view

The Belvédère scenic viewpoint at Fa'aroa is at the top of the road which crosses the south of the island of Raiatea. It offers magnificent views over the Fa'aroa estuary and the lush green countryside. Several short hike trails leave from the viewpoint, including one which takes you to Macaranga ridge.
